Lol, ok.....i have to stop you there. Us fans of the nfl already knew Conner was a stud. It was a major reason pit fans were NOT losing their shit over the Bell situation. Im a vikings fan but even i pay enough attention to the sport to call you out on that one.He wasn't a pro bowler before last season some of your fans were jumping off the bridge when Bell held out. Ballage is a 4th round pick wow way worse but ok no UDFA or picks outside of the 3rd round make it to the NFL. You are a clown... I gave you an opinion after seeing them play potential means they have a shot. As for Preston Williams he was getting 1st round grades but he had troubles and went undrafted but that makes him a no shot player....ok gotcha. I saw otherwise in the preseason so we'll see what happens.
but he said pitt fans were losing their shitLol, ok.....i have to stop you there. Us fans of the nfl already knew Conner was a stud. Thats why i had to comment. It was such an ignorant comment. I mean, im a vikings fan and i save most of my critisism for the packers, bears, etc. But that comment was lol worthy.but he said pitt fans were losing their shit
well according to him im a fool, crazy, make things up, and blow things out of proportion. Mean while i can say "the dolphins are weak at qb" and he will take it as "The dolphins have the worst qb in the history of the nfl, and there is no way the dolphins can throw a passing td the whole season much less win a game"Thats why i had to comment. It was such an ignorant comment. I mean, im a vikings fan and i save most of my critisism for the packers, bears, etc. But that comment was lol worthy.
Of course I'm being optimistic why not? Young players come into the league every day in many different ways. Heck Wake came through the CFL as no one wanted him but in your mind that's impossible? I'm just giving you my opinion from my eye test. Alonso for instance was beat out by a CFLer legitimately beat so he's traded it was the right move. I could see it coming especially since he wouldn't be there in two years anyway so let him go. Maybe Connor wasn't a great example but I was just trying to make a point to you that you don't need a roster full of stars to win. Not everyone is a star to begin with. The Fins will be young and will make mistakes but I don't think that they will lose because of a lack of effort. Tunsil deal would normally not happen but they had no choice two steps back but four ahead... I'm cool with that. Seattle just did the same thing traded their DE for a haul then picked up another for a discount smart GMing.i get that, but what gives you any confidence that they are on the dolphins? what draft gives u confidence? what move gives you confidence? optimism?
I can see a plan in place whereas with gase he was all over the map. It will take time but I'm all for building through the draft with youth hungry players. Will definitely be interesting...Good brother nice to have the NFL back this week. Glad you have been busy, better than being not. Hopefully Flores starts getting your team back on track

Ok my point to him was that he was implying that anyone not a star already could not be a good prospect with potential. Just because Ballage was taken in the fourth round doesn't mean he can't be good. It's looking like he beat out Drake for various reasons and I've seen him make some progress. Either way you don't have to be a first or second rounder to be a good player in this league is my point...Lol, ok.....i have to stop you there. Us fans of the nfl already knew Conner was a stud. Alonso actually legitimately lost his job to a CFLer Sam beat him out better and cheaper player so the trade makes sense.Saints acquired LB Kiko Alonso from the Dolphins in exchange for LB Vince Biegel.
Biegel has 14 career tackles to his name, essentially making this a straight salary dump
Of course not every pick hits but if you have acquired twice as many picks than the norm your odds have doubled that's simple statistics. You are also forgetting that they will have over 100 M in cap space does that mean nothing to you? While all this happens over time they will sift through a lot of young talent to believe that none will be any good is ridiculous. Baker is a great example looked ok last season and now the lights went on he looks great this year yet according to your rating system he should have been cut last year when he may be a star this season already. Preston Williams is another to keep an eye on not 100% guaranteed but man this kid looks good. The Browns basically kept losing and drafting eventually you hit but I don't believe that you need to lose for ten years to turn it around if you are smart and trading tunsil was smart when receiving that much. I think you are in the minority on that move...no heres the difference wake is the 1-100 player. Hes the exception. You act like its the norm or a "potential", when its not even close to 50-50.
i get that u dont need full talent to win. But you need some. you need a decent gm, owner, coach. Definitely a qb, some playmakers.........
im just not seeing it. like i said if FIRST round picks are 50/50 hit rate. just firsts......Theres stats out there that say 18% of all drafted players hang on. 18%! meaning if by some ungodly way 50-60% of your roster was on your team now. lets say 60%
That means u need to hit a lot of draft picks , at a rate better than its been historically for any franchise.......again just my 2 cents. But if the guys on this team were so loaded with potential, they would be the browns, a young team with talent.....
theres been a ton of UDFA wr pre season stars, just fyi.Of course not every pick hits but if you have acquired twice as many picks than the norm your odds have doubled that's simple statistics. I'm talking about the Fins LB Baker as a later round pick not Mayfield....theres been a ton of UDFA wr pre season stars, just fyi.
im not saying tunsil wasnt smart. Im just saying that if if 1-5 picks hits.......and you have 30........well u got 6 guys....but whatver
im just curious what world your living in that baker looked "ok" . When did the lights go on? the Offseason? One he was a rookie last year. Two he set a BUNCH of records. Where in the world should he be cut. This is my point , where in the world do you get this stuff out of what i say.........
Baker last year
Bakers records
- NFL Rookie QB QBR Leader (2018)
- NFL Rookie QB Pass Completions Leader (2018)
- NFL Rookie QB Pass Attempts Leader (2018)
- NFL Rookie QB Pass Completion Percentage Leader (2018)

- NFL Rookie QB Pass Yards per Pass Attempt Leader (2018)
- NFL Rookie QB Pass Yards per Game Leader (2018)
- NFL Rookie QB Pass Touchdowns Leader (2018)
So im just curious in what world he was "ok", or i said by my metrics he should be cut. This again is my point. You say i blow things up, YOU extrapolate things, take them out of context, and add meaning to things. This is just another example. Tack it on to conner.

fair enough, like i know who he is. But why would I suggest hes not one to eye. He was a third round pick with a good rookie year. But im just guessing there arent 15 other jerome bakers on your squadI'm talking about the Fins LB Baker as a later round pick not Mayfield....

Or David Carr'dRosen just can’t catch a break. Went from the league’s worst OL to a team who just traded away a pro-bowl-caliber LT.
Dude’s gonna get Andrew-Luck’d if they’re not careful.
