Finally some real football for Fins fans to enjoy again.

According to reports, we should expect less playing time than previous season from the big names/starters on our team in this pre-season game as it will be more about the back-ups in this game and possibly throughout the pre-season.

The Fins know what they have in their starters - building depth is their goal. I am sure that maybe in game 3 or 4 of the pre-season, the starters will get extended looks, but this will be more about the backups.

The #Dolphins announce several staff additions, including adding former #Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum as a consultant.
According to the #Dolphins, Mike Tannenbaum will consult the team on projects involving analytics, innovation and sports science.

Great first drive for the Fins. O-Line looked impressive.

And, Tannehill looked as poised as ever -- Preseason week 1 but still a lot to like so far

There is only one thing I dont like about the offensive play calling that reminds me of too much from last season - we are still often using these bubble screens that take way too long to develop and that require a great deal of concentration and cohesion from the OL of which we dont have and may be inconsistent at with the revolving door that is our OL.

The best part of our offense is its diversity, though. Not sure how many plays we have run to this point or what the number will be at games end - But, one thing is for certain, no one formation is similar to the previous or next one ... diversity each and every play... predictability wont be something we should complain about this season.

I really like what I saw from Tannehill and the starters on the first drive. They look like an offense that is going to be able to score much better than last year. WR Matthews continues to impress. The Oline played great. L Miller ran and caught the ball well on the scoring drive. The starting defense had a hard time but Atlanta has a very good offense but the defense will need to play better.
