Alright - let me spell it out once and for all.

- In 2015, Meyer said he heard about allegations and he reported them. No charges were filed, no arrests were made - nothing happened.

- Last week, the day before B1G Media Days, the McMurphy report came out which stated Smith was arrested for felonious assault, which was a blatant lie as has been proven.

- During the Media Day, that was the topic of conversation. It wasn't about Meyer maybe hearing about allegations, that was never the narrative. It was about Smith supposedly being arrested. This was "the incident" that Meyer had just heard about the night before. That is true.

- Meyer said he had not heard about this incident until the night before, which is true. What he didn't offer up was the information that he had actually known about allegations and reported them (so he says). In doing this, he was not clear or totally forthcoming. Does this mean he flat out lied about knowing anything at all whatsover? No. It means he didn't tell them everything that had happened initially.

We’ll have to agree to disagree. You are reading into the word incident way different than I.

Listen - if this investigation concludes and they say "we have unequivocal proof that Urban not only knew about allegations in 2015 and didn't report them, but then also made an official statement lying about reporting these allegations", then I will say without hesitation to bring on the Ryan Day era (or even better, the Matt Campbell era). I've never minced words about that.

I agree. He can’t coach forever anyway. I was shocked he made the statement that he reported it. No way he just pulls that out of his ass. 99% sure he’s telling the truth unless he is going to go with “it’s my word against the ADs, now what?”

For anyone interested in the entire thing being laid out in a logical manner, read this link.

BuckeyeGrove.com - Column: For Ohio State, even truth is fighting a moving target

In the meantime, Courtney Smith has released a statement through her attorney:

Here is irony: Courtney has been stopped at least 3 times driving while intoxicated and in every instance she was escorted home after telling the police that she was afraid and Zach was after her. In her statement, her attorney states that she has never been charged with DUI. Zach has never been charged with domestic violence, either.

And there it is......"The cycle of abuse is complicated. Breaking free from years of violence takes tremendous courage and support"

"I'm so so sorry"- Zack Smith

I mean it's been laid out over and over and over and OVER again. The questions from multiple reporters said NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT ARRESTS. One had a reference to McMurphy. Several just asked super vague general questions about 2015, hell one wasn't even that specific. You and your ilk will ONLY hang on one question that kind of might maybe be seen as asking about an arrest based off a story from the night before. You see what you want to see.

His response - "My intention was not to say anything inaccurate or misleading. However, I was not adequately prepared to discuss these sensitive personnel issues with the media, and I apologize for the way I handled those questions" was clearly saying he didn't intend to say anything inaccurate or misleading and yet did so and he apologized for it. To just about everyone on planet earth not having bucknuts in their living room that's an apology for lying.

Now, how about you show me where I'm mad about something and really really pissed off about his lies or whatever nonsense you are on about.
The questions from the reporters also said NOTHING ABOUT ALLEGATIONS THAT MEYER REPORTED.

Ask yourself - why would they be asking about allegations from 2015? Nobody knew about anything happening from then at all before the McMurphy report, and that stated Smith got arrested. Put two and two together, dummy.

I've already said I don't think he was clear, which he wasn't. He doesn't have an obligation to be, but it's outrage society that we live in so he had to come out with an apology to the crybaby media and to crybabies like you.

Truthfully you can’t be this stupid right? He was asked about INCIDENTS....INCIDENTS. NOT FELONIOUS ASSAULT ARREST. Anyone with half a brain of common sense knows they are talking about Zach abusing his wife. Not if he got arrested for it. How in the fuck are you reading into that.

Then in response on Twitter he says he went through the proper channels. Why the fuck would he say he just heard about it this the day before (2015 incident) if he went through the proper channels?

Read into it how you must but anyone with common sense can see he lied.
BECAUSE HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE ARRESTS. THE WORD "INCIDENTS" IS ABOUT AS VAGUE AS CAN BE. GIVEN THE MCMURPHY REPORT JUST CAME OUT AND STATED HE WAS ARRESTED, WHY THE FUCK WOULDN'T MEYER THINK THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT ARRESTS?

Because you are choosing to. An unfounded allegation isn't an "incident". An arrest is.

After McMurphy came out and changed his report about Smith getting arrested, I knew Meyer was going to come out about reporting the allegations.

You aren’t using common sense. He was asked about incidents. Not freaking arrests. In no way shape or form does it make sense that an incident is an arrest.

No, you are choosing to go down with the ship and try and make Urban look as innocent as possible. Again, use common sense.

And in what way does it make sense that incidents are unfounded allegations? Incidents mean events. Allegations that wind up resulting in nothing are not incidents.

Also, why would they be asking about allegations? The McMurphy report (which was the only reason they were talking about 2015) didn't say there were allegations, it said there was an arrest, so why would he not think they were talking about the arrest?

Dude I am, it's not my fault you are choosing to only believe that incidents (events, by definition) can only possibly mean allegations when even the report itself said specifically he was arrested, not that there were just allegations like you want to believe.

DUDE REREAD THE SCRIPT from media day I linked. He is asked about an incident in 2009, in which him and his wife got Zach and Courtney counseling. You think that means they are talking about an arrest? He’s talking about Zach Smith beating his wife.

It’s really not that hard to see.

I’m not saying allegations, I’m saying him physically abusing his wife. No where in script do they talking mention arrests. You aren’t choosing to believe it because of your blinders. That’s fine it is what it is.

You've got to be the densest motherfucker in the world. Do you seriously think Meyer would ever actually say a word regarding Zach actually abusing his wife to the media when there were never any convictions or even any charges? He'd be in a world of shit legally if he even gave an opinion on it actually happening without actual evidence.

Guess what? Nowhere in the script do they mention allegations either. They mention an incident. The incident in question, as reported by McMurphy, was that Smith was arrested for felonious assault. It just is what it is. If you choose to still believe that the reporters would be talking about allegations (which weren't noted in the report) and not an arrest (which was noted in the report), then that's your choice.
