I have not seen the authorities deny McMurphies claim that the original incident report has been changed, so right now it’s hard to say McMurphy did anything unseemly. We found out pretty quick Urban flat out lied but that doesn't seem to alter his credibility in your eyes for some reason. So far Urbans on paid leave, Smith has been fired and the AD is in deep shit. Say what you want but the essence of his report seems to be pretty spot on.

Theres a pretty big difference between a felony arrest and an investigation.....There’s quite a few pretty drastic edits and changes here

OSU's team is digging every which way imaginable and will for sure have access to deeper and more complete information.

There is zero chance any type of false, misleading, incomplete, or otherwise erroneous information from that article will have impact on their final report.

If there is such false or misleading, incomplete information in that article it will for sure come out by that team and McMurphy would of course be held accountable for it. There is no chance he gets away with shitty reporting, whether he's currently an independent reporter or not. He already has a job waiting for him when his contract with ESPN runs out. You'd have to expect it to impact that job. So the idea he can get away with some crazy scheme to invent a false narrative to make a buck and won't face any type of consequence because he is currently independent is simply wrong.

There will be plenty of time for vilifying and holding whoever is found accountable for errors or wrongdoing once ALL of the facts are in. Which thank goodness is expected within the next week or so. Plenty of time for Meyer to resume his duties before any real damage to the team is done, should things go that way.

See, even if all of that is true, he's doing it on FB not an actual site that has protocols for making corrections.

I get being skeptical, just like I get those wanting to fry Meyer before all of the facts are in and known. It just doesn't make any sense to ask for others to wait for those facts for one, while making wild claims about the other before his chance to be heard.

If this is something more than just not having a good way to correct mistakes of the record you can bank on OSU's team calling every single bit of it out for him to answer to. He won't get away with anything. If there's something for him to actually get away with in the first place.
