He certainly did. To be fair, I'm not going to discredit his entire report. I said at the beginning that I think the actual truth lies somewhere in the middle of what she says and what Zach/the mothers say. I don't doubt that he hit her at some point, but I don't doubt that she was the instigator plenty of times and even hit him as well. They're both batshit crazy, if I were to guess.Yep, something we can entirely agree on.
I think it was pretty clear in that article why as well. After ESPN laid off all those people with big contracts he asked if they wanted to still use him on the downlow if he came across anything good and even then they said no. He figured they wanted to try and make all of them uncomfortable enough to take even lesser jobs and release them from their contracts. He decided to shove it in their face and 'break' as many big things as he could while on their dime that they wouldn't benefit from.
This wasn't anything like clark claims, but he for sure rushed to get a scoop to be another dig on his former employers one last time before the checks stopped coming from them. He broke this two weeks before the end of that contract.

Are you high? We've had the discussion a few times just this week. I've said over and over I think the simplest answer is she's a vindictive ex wife that can't get over catching her husband cheating and lying to her and went bat shit crazy. I said it is more likely to me that if the texts were faked/altered, the police report was doctored, etc that it is far more likely he took her word for it and it was her that did it. I've literally said it a dozen times.I don't recall you offering this up as a possibility.
You do get that this swings both ways don't you?Snook says he still has evidence it was Herman, so in all fairness, I think you have to give him the benefit of the doubt as well, right? He's been writing for longer than McMurphy, with 14 published books to his credit, so it's no less logical to think he wouldn't lie with his career on the line potentially.
As I've said, I think everyone with the last name Smith and/or related to one of them are ultimately going to be the only losers here. They are already losers ffs. Damn people.Crazy Courtney now lashing out at her mother
Fair points. I think we're on the same boat. Are you high? We've had the discussion a few times just this week. You can't blindly say Snooks has to be treated as right because he said so and has a history (really? never heard of him and neither has anyone else up here) and yet keep telling us McMurphy fabricated his.
Since we do not know what his source is (nor mcmurphy for that matter) it isn't possible to draw conclusions, only likelihoods at best. Period. I don't claim mcmurphy couldn't have lied or created evidence, I simply think it is less likely than being a dupe for Courtney. It just seems more logical. That's not saying I take it as fact ffs. So why do we have to do this over and over again?
I also said I'm not getting a good vibe off her mother and said a few days ago she seems like a good "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" kind of tie in to crazy along with Courtney. So I'll just wait for what shakes out. My best guess is they are both a bit off their rockers and have some things wrong, even if the overall claim Courtney went for blood may be right. I just want those real details from people who look into it before going as far as Snooks. That's not at all unreasonable IMO.
Well even if she knew, there’s absolutely no way possible that Tom knew. We all know wives never tell their husbands anything, right? Can the Hermans' be believed? I thought according go Courtney and McMurphy, all of the coach's wives new.
From Snook's latest FB post:
Still, Michelle Herman told me this Tuesday about Courtney Smith via Messenger:
“She never told me she was being abused. She never told anyone she was being abused. Nobody saw any abuse.”
As I've said, I think everyone with the last name Smith and/or related to one of them are ultimately going to be the only losers here. They are already losers ffs. Damn people.
Snook has said he still has evidence that support his claim about them. He needs to come out with it soon. Can the Hermans' be believed? I thought according go Courtney and McMurphy, all of the coach's wives knew.

I mean it only took 2k posts to get there, but yeah...Fair points. I think we're on the same boat.
Read his FB post. I don't FBSnook has said he still has evidence that support his claim about them. He needs to come out with it soon.
I don't disagree with this. The thing is, others have been making the next jump claim that his entire story is false or made up because of the changes to those two points and a handful of tweets from 7 years ago and I found that next step silly. That's all.He certainly did. To be fair, I'm not going to discredit his entire report. Bottom line is this - McMurphy has come off as being pretty biased. He changed his Twitter banner from a picture of his daughter to the Urban Meyer rally crowd. He's tried painting the judge in the Zach Smith OVI case in a biased light with nothing to support it. It's clear he had an agenda, and it's clear this is some of his worst work from an integrity standpoint. He truly did next to no research, and interviewed one person on a story involving dozens of people supposedly. This is why I've been so quick to demean him and his work.
At the end of this I expect to have sympathy for Meyer and the OSU program, but NONE for any of the smiths (possibly including your AD, but we will see). Courtney, Zack, and her mother are all deserving of the shit they will face for years to come.Jerry Springer level trash.
Oh I remember that game, I knowing some of the Wisky fans on here, I can imagine that motherfucker went on for weeks.@Across The Field your ass wasn't even around for that thread. But you can probably understand why it went as long as it did.

I feel for the kids. They drew the short straw in the parent game.At the end of this I expect to have sympathy for Meyer and the OSU program, but NONE for any of the smiths (possibly including your AD, but we will see). He was correct in thinking it. The Columbus Dispatch had been working on a story for 2 weeks before his came out. The reason their story hadn't been published yet is because their research wasn't finished and there was far too much conflicting information. Weird, huh?I don't disagree with this. The thing is, others have been making the next jump claim that his entire story is false or made up because of the changes to those two points and a handful of tweets from 7 years ago and I found that next step silly. That's all.
I think he does care about being right, but rushed the fuck out of this out of fear someone else was on it and going to break it before him if he didn't go fast. That's pretty much what he said to deadspin and that's troubling. He was too trusting of one source and the support for her stuff all came from her, not the police or other external sources. I think most of the falsehoods in his report are due to that. Courtney manipulating him and his need for speed. It's a bad deal.
I still doubt it ends up hurting him which is also sad, but he has that it was all her thing that will appease his new employers. All Stadiums will care about is he brings in traffic. Honestly, they don't care if it's just thousands of pissed off OSU fans coming to taunt him. They will still click and create ad revenue and foot traffic. That's where we are on all media these days. There won't be accountability for the accuracy of that report at the end of the day IMO.
