Also in case anybody was wondering, the playoff teams from this year's MBBRL came from the following draft positions:

A league

Steelers - 6th position
Chef - 12th position
TKO - 2nd position
Treff - 10th position

Most points was from Tlance in the 1st position

B league

Harold - 12th position
Cheesehead - 11th position
OBX - 5th position
Shady - 1st position

Barilko's monster team was drafted from the 8th position.

I think it's safe to say that it makes no difference whatsoever where you draft from, it's what you do with it that counts.

Im shocked I made the playoffs in the suicide B league. My team is both injured and served a 4 game suspension. I am getting Jeffrey back for the playoffs so watch out for that BarkRey connection !

Makes sense.... Now my Brees trade really comes in my face. The fact Cam and Moncrief won't be starting makes me even more nervous. Add in the fact Brees is my money league QB, and I'm in a real pickle. I need DJ and Julio to be ballers.

As far as waivers go, I thought for sure Treff was going to grab Farrow. Steelers, you made out well there.

It's pretty dead on here for playoff time. I think the playoff teams are still all in a coma from last week. I'll pose a question for you guys. If you had to make the decision that Harold did in the B league to pick his first round opponent, what would you have chosen? Don't go look at their records or rosters or matchups, what matters is that if either he or OBX wins the Super Bowl he will move up to the A league. With that being the case, would you strategically rather play against OBX the first week guaranteeing that one of you plays for the championship, or would you choose the "weakest" team available and hope that both you and OBX win which would guarantee your spot in the A league next year. Just curious.

For my two cents, I'd have a hard time not choosing to play against OBX the first week just to guarantee that one of you gets there. I've seen way too many times in the playoffs that strange things happen and the last thing I'd want is to have nothing to root for in championship week. Thoughts??????

I actually like the math better for NOT choosing Obx... Both ways is essentially the same 50%... really the only difference is the GUARANTEE of a CHANCE...

BUT, the guarantee is only to get to the championship match, not to win...

If you DONT choose OBX, then there is a 75% that at least one of you make it to the final match... and assuming that one makes it you have a 66% chance of either Winning it all...

Nah,didn't look very impressive to me, Rivers, Williams, Hunter, and Gates seem to me the guys who will benefit from the Gordon absence. They'll be passing plenty

I would've made my choice based solely on each team's match ups at QB, RB1, and RB2. I would've considered anything more than that, especially pathways to get to KOTF, as over thinking the whole thing. The only pathway that matters is winning week 16, can't win week 16 without winning week 15 first.

OBX moves up no matter what. The other team moving up will be the Super Bowl Champ. If OBX is the Super Bowl champ, then the team that held the #1 seed is next in line to move up with him. The only way that only one team can move up is if the breakdown champ is also the #1 seed, has the most points, and wins the Super Bowl. It's never actually happened that way.

Well, my best to all in the playoffs - a Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year to all !!!!

Random last thoughts -
1. Not much to be proud of in this league this season, however, I did well in the division of death (4-2) - knocking off Tlance twice (and he will have to wait until 2018 to get revenge !!).
2. Not sure I've ever been through so many players across the leagues I'm in. The devastation I had at RB and WR was severe (then again, maybe I banked on the wrong guys from the beginning) .... still in it in big $$ though.
3. My best team turned out to be Suicide where I couldn't mess with it (and, the biggy, no major injury issues). ... hummmm
