Great job TKO!! As you heard from Treff, I won't be doing the recaps, but to make life easier on the commish (and everybody else) I am still going to do the spreadsheet. I really enjoy this league and love the interaction, but since I've started my own business I have a lot more limited time (plus the 1 and 3 year old) and the spreadsheet takes long enough. And don't worry, you'll still be hearing plenty from me.

WEEK 1 STANDINGS

I'm not getting into relegation, oblivion, B leaguers moving up or any of that stuff until at least week 5, but if you want an overall breakdown, the A league started off the first week much like we did last year outscoring the B league by 48 points 1284-1236.

Other small note. Tlance won, what a fucking surprise. I'm sure Jameis Winston will break Peyton Manning's touchdown record this year.

And thank God for decimal scoring. It's the first time in the entire time I've done this that there were no ties in any breakdown category, it will make that so much easier. And just so you know, I looked at the box score for Steelers v. Chef and if it was last year with no decimal scoring, Chef would have won 92-90.

I'll also try to post the same week's chart from last year as well just for comparison purposes. As you can see, we did much better in the scoring department as a whole this year.

Thanks for the support, but after losing, I'd rather be in last year's predicament, which was 3rd from last instead of 2nd from last. Relegation scares me.
If there is a bright side, I seem to start every season this way.

Note: this is 2015 below... if you want to compare.

Well if TKO is going to volunteer to write a recap, regardless of how short or long or anything else, by all means, you go boy!

All I really have to say on the league is that I have to apologize profusely for my error in judgement to the entire KOFT members. You've got Cam Newton, dummy, don't overthink this, and don't screw the other members out of 18+ points when we're competing with the Barbarians for 2 spots. So, sorry ya'll, I will not be making that mistake again.

Other than that, well done everyone, and best of luck to all you making waiver prayers tonight.

So 440 AM, MST, I'm perusing the waiver results.. Bummer, Joe took the plunge and claimed T. Williams, was hoping to get him for "free"...rats, Face claimed Cruz, another guy I was hoping no one would feel is worth a claim...Well, Mike Wallace is still hanging around...but do I really want him? go and check my roster, should I go TE?, QB? Shot in the dark at a RB? Nahhh, I'll.settle for Wallace, head back to players page..no Wallace..Damnit Lefty!!!

Ha, well, when your drop is RG3, and you don't want to spend the #3 claim on either of em, I don't know if valuable, is the right word, but it fits!

At least I moved up to #2, and I can't imagine Chef being able to withstand the urge to use #1 too terribly long

Not that it's a shock but everybody in this league, more than any other league I'm in, understands how valuable your waiver wire position is as the season goes on. Every other league I'm in, guys use their waiver wire priority to pick up kickers, defenses, and other losers that won't stay on their roster more than a few weeks. Yet another reason this truly is the most competitive league I play in.

If I have to face Fuzzy a 3rd time, it had better be in the playoffs.

After losing K. Allen I had to do something - - not my first choice but didn't want to move farther back on waivers this early in the year. Had it boiled down to 3 WRs - Wallace was #3.

Well, it's entirely possible I dropped the ball there, but I never assisted the schedule assuming the system would automatically set everything the same way it was before. All I know for certain is there is no option to edit the schedule available now

It is the same way in the B league. We were talking about it a few weeks ago, you play someone in your division three times and there is one team you do not play.
