Heath Miller 8 points...maybe I shoulda just hung onto him. Or maybe I shoulda picked up Dion Lewis. Did White even play? Bolden had one decent play that I remember.

Curse you BB! You genius, you! Now go fix your headphones. Everyone's angry with you again. :pound:

Thursday observations: 1. DWilly ran really well (surprised me). 2. The Pats RB situation surprisingly (not really) featured the least talked about guy. 3. Gronk is a stud (no surprise there). 4. Brady is out to prove something (again no surprise there). AB is a stud (no surprise). 4. Steelers offense sputtered in the redzone (no Bryant, no Bell). 5. We know why the Jags cut Scobee loose. 6. Both defenses have holes.

And. ..the Patriots didn't need a running game, nor a real WR, to beat a playoff team. ...scary

Feeling pretty good about picking up Brady as my "backup" QB. And Dion Lewis just muddied up the Patriot backfield as per usual with Hoodie's teams.

Actually think he clarified things, now we know who will be Blount's 1B...knew it would be someone, now we know

Mmm...or maybe he ran Lewis because he figured it would throw the Steelers off...

Lewis would be a good fit in Dallas.

Anyone read the comment the Steelers made the other day about how they were gonna play Gronk? Perhaps there should've been a Plan B...

Funny thing is, the plan was to disrupt him at the line. .actually a good plan, but they never did it

Maybe the Pats line, not Dallas, is actually the line any practice squad guy can run behind.

@averagejoe - Not quite sure how you will feel about this, but Skip Bayless just picked the Bears to "shock the world" and upset the Pack this weekend.:eek::eek:

Let me begin by saying that Skip Bayless' sole role (as far as I'm concerned) is to start controversy and irritate. Maybe at the direction of ESPN.

I don't expect the bears to win. But if they did have an outside shot at it... it would be on opening day with a new coaching staff, new scheme, and at home.

Tlance's picks:

Tlance over Sam: our strengths and weaknesses are similar, but matchups favor me. Luck vs. bills is bad "luck" for Sam/Will

Fuzzy over Barilko: Thursday night determines this one. I am thinking shoutout. If Fuzz gets 55+ from his quartet, he will win.

Bandit over Chef: chef's squad will be awesome when Bell returns. For now, they will lose to Bandit.

Joe over Treff: manning + the RBs will get it done for Joe

Lefty over Milk: too much dud potential from each of Milk's RBs

TKO over Ram: assuming Cobb plays here. Will be very close regardless.

I had faith in you Fuzz!

My take: the pats dictated game flow all night and looked awesome. Let's see if their offense can dominate the bills.

As for the Steelers, their offense is as advertised, maybe better. They played very poorly and left a ton of points on the field. Missed Fgs, hey ward-bey stepping on the sideline, failure to score from the 1. Yet, they moved the ball at will and piled up nearly 500 yards without 2 of their 3 best skill players. They are scary good offensively and Scary bad on D.
