Biggest regret

i was all set to draft Stafford and Floyd at the end of 4/start of 5 turn and the last two picks made before the turn yielded the exact 2 players-Tks Treff -Tks Ram

and of course i have already mentioned elsewhere my other error was

C.Michael to start 9 which led to my missing out on 4 TE that i would rather of had before i chose mine to end the 10th

I also skipped Rodgers in 3 i really thought i had a shot at Stafford at the 4/5 Turn

So Wil, my Team President, GM, Director of Pro-Personnel, Salary Cap Specialist and Kickers/Punters Coach (AKA Team Czar), what'd you get for us in the draft?

Looks like Bandit's chart should cover it, but:

QB - Brady
RB1 - Charles
RB2 - CJ1K
WR - Cobb
WR - Hilton
Flex - Joique
TE - Gronk
DST - Seahawks
K - Walsh

Bench: Foles/Moreno/Rueben Randle/Tavon Austin and Josh "Weed" Gordon.

So, I'm looking at our draft as a whole and I don't see any weak teams...............sure it looks like we all have some issues but man the teams all look pretty solid to me...............

I really regret taking SJax at the end of the 5th rd instead of Lamar Miller - I should have taken Miller with that pick before TLance, and then taken SJax or MJD after that, just to mix in some young upside RBs in with my vets.

oh well, at least now I know what position my first waiver claim will be!

My biggest regret? TREFF and B taking FJax and Tate earlier than I thought they would. Happy with the guys I got there but rather would have had one of those RB's with Rice's suspension........so I regret not taking Tate/FJax in the 6th instead of DJax. Actually, had I done that I would have taken Nicks instead of The Donald..........so yeah, I regret that dammit! And the Texans D but that was an honest mistake

I actually don't have any regrets. A small disappointment in not getting C. Patterson..As my #2, but other than that everyone in the team was a guy liked going in. Overall I'm much happier with this team than any previous MBBRL team, including the Foster/AP team two years ago.

So, I posted the draft boards for both leagues on all 3 threads that they relate to. Some very interesting differences in the leagues.

Keeper of the Flame

QB's - 19 (0 in the first round and 5 in the first 6 rounds)
RB'S - 60 (31 in the first 5 rounds)
WR'S - 49 (21 in the first 5 rounds and only 2 total from TKO in the most interesting draft strategy I've ever seen)
TE'S - 16 (5 in the first 7 rounds)
DEF - 12 (with the Panthers being the 6th one taken, Seahawks went in round 9)
K - 12 (1st one went to Joe in the 12th)

Barbarians

QB's - 19 (2 in the first round and 7 in the first 6 rounds)
RB's - 54 (25 in the first 5 rounds)
WR'S - 56 (25 in the first 5 rounds)
TE's - 14 (5 in the first 7 rounds)
DEF - 13 (Seahawks in the 7th round)
K - 12 (1st one went to Micro in the 12th)

TKO (2) and Monkey (3) are the only ones with less than 4 wide receivers
TK is only one with two defenses
TKO 7 of the first 8 picks were running backs, no wonder it seemed like there was none left.
Eli Manning was drafted as a starting and only quarterback for a team in each league (TKO and Milk)
The Barbarians drafted 3 quarterbacks before the Keepers drafted their 1st.
17 of the first 28 picks were running backs in the Keepers draft.
Gio Bernard went 9th in the Keepers draft and was autopicked 31st in the Barbarians.
Bishop Sankey went 41st in Keepers draft and 64th in Barbarians
Ben Tate went 37th in Barbarians and 56th in Keepers which is really saying something considering how fast the running backs were flying off the board in our draft.
Sammy Watkins went 70th in Barbarians and 139th in Keepers
Cam Newton went 51st in Barbarians and 103rd as a backup quarterback in Keepers
Seahawks D went 101st in Keepers and 83rd in Barbarians

I will list the differences in the draft on a new comment because there are way more than I thought.

That's awesome bandit! So by "interesting draft strategy", you mean...?

;)

As for Eli, I don't expect to start him much, if at all... like I said, if I just drafted Rodgers in the 3rd, my team would look much better.

As for two WR, well, in my eyes there's no difference than anyone on waivers from anyone drafted in the 8th on... and I ran out of room for Kearse! And if Ben fell to me in the 10th, I would have a 3rd receiver...but my "panick" pick was Rudolph.

It might work out for you and if it does, I think it's awesome, but there's no way I would have the stones to do that. What's funny about it though is I had absolutely no idea that 7 or your first 8 were running backs until I saw the final draft board and I'm not sure anybody else did either or there would have been something on the chat board. Took a lot of guts.

Very nice Bandit. Knew you would be a good addition. I was the guy that took Sankey too early and Tate too late in Keepers.

TKO- offer on the site that might alleviate some early draft stress for both of us.

That's a little rich for me, Fuzz. Considering I drafted all my RB before Ben, as much as I like him, I'm not selling the depth I created for it. Not panickng yet.

But that is part of the reason that I have Ben and you have a stable of RBs is that you drafted the RBs first and left Ben for me. Let me know if you think of something- it seems like we should be able to figure something out.
