ESPN did pretty poorly in our rankings game last year. I'll include Fantasy Pros this year.

Yeah, ESPN rankings are sketchy. Doug Martin 11th overall?

So I find it very interesting some of the differences in ESPN and fantasy pros rankings:

ESPN Montee Ball is #25 Fantasy Pros #10

The mock draft I talked about earlier was done on Fantasy Pros and not ESPN. Because Pros mocks are lightning fast. Because the other "mockers" are computer-generated. Still, on FP, Ball lasted until the end of the 2nd round even though he's ranked 10th by their consensus.

Does the appendectomy have something to do with that?

Doesn't matter for me because he's a first rounder in every league I'll be in.

The first 4 are easy, after that there may be a few surprises . ...... not necessarily the who's in the top 12 but the order could well be all over the place.

I've been running more numbers. Did the usage numbers for each offense. There were a couple of surprises (to me anyway).

WR - Marshall led by accounting for 20.3% of the Bears' play-calling. Megatron was 3rd accounting for 18% of the Lions' plays. No surprises here. (And "usage" numbers include "targets" too.) The surprise was who finished 2nd... Reggie Wayne accounted for 18.3% of Indy's play-calling.

TE - Spleenboy (Witten) led with 14.8% of the 'Boys plays. Graham had 13%. The great Gonzo was 3rd with 12.5%

RB - All Day led by accounting for 41.2% of the Vikes' plays. Doug Martin was 2nd with 39.7%. Foster was 3rd with 38.5%.

Interesting data, thanks and keep it coming.

C'mon Barilko. Give me more credit than that.

The only league where I will own Morris this year is in one where he is a 7th round keeper. I would take him at pick 36, but there is no chance I take him at 12 or 13. Homerism does not factor into my fantasy football decisions.

Harold, where did you find that? I don't even remember posting that?

RE: Forte - If you add up all of the rushing attempts by a Bears RB, Forte had 82% of the carries. Michael Bush had the other 18%. No other Bears RB had a carry. And Bush is gone. The next-closest RB to lead his team in rushing attempts is McCoy at 79%. (AP and Morris are next with 78%.)

RE: Joe Kiper's Predictions - I can see Fuzzy taking Manning. But will he? I doubt I'll take Megatron even if he does fall to me at #9. Nor Manning, nor Graham. It'll be a RB for me most likely. LeVeon is a nice guess & a possibility. But I still have my eye on someone else. Shocker.

I think you did a whole post centered around usage percentages around last may - early june.

it was a very nice post, if I remember correctly.

And BTW - I won't be taking Foster in the 1st round in any drafts this year!
HOU could have at least had the courtesy to put him away wet after riding him so hard.
Dude will be injured somewhere along the road this season. Or at the least, he'll try to play through multiple nagging injuries and be mostly in effective in a weak offense. that defense won't rebound if they have to play 50 minutes every week. no one can be on the field that long and still be good.

sorry for the rough judgement on your team Barilko, but I just don't see good things happening for Foster anymore, I'd rather have Gore, especially since you can get Gore 2-4 rounds later
