Due to a lane closure on the highway, I got home late. From the road to my garage is a dead zone. I ran into the house just in time to see my first draft pick was auto picked.

Breece Hall was going for whom ever was left of the 3 RBs or J Jefferson here.
Deebo Samuel best of the WRs left
Sam LaPorta. I had already noticed SP going RB heavy in front of me. Saw LaPorta's name and figured I would get my TE out of the way
R Stevenson I couldn't wait anymore with SP getting 2 picks before I picked again, so I took the best B on the board.
Joe Burrow wanted C J Stroud here, but Sam took him so I took the next best QB.
Tank Dell filling my Flex with the best available
Christian Watson at this point I was trying to avoid the bye week hell, so took the best bench player that didn't hurt me bye wise
Austin Ekeler , D Johnson, J K Dobbins all best left that didn't hurt my byes
CLE D run on Defenses and Cle was the best available
Ladd McConkey late bench player that I am high on
Harrison Butker Not the best K on the board (the Dallas K was left) but the guy that won BATG for me last year. I was done in the championship game until he started kicking those 50 yarder
Bryce Young Last pick for me and went after a QB that either continues to be a bust or finds his mojo. High ceiling, but if bad floor I can cut quickly.

I tried to either get someone on a decent offense or just try not to reach too often.

Taking a gamble with no backup QB. But Lamar's bye is week 12. And i know i'll need to make a move to stream a K and DST in weeks 6 and 7. May add a backup QB then. Or backup TE.

Not much of a gamble. There will always be at least 2 non bye starting qbs available on waivers. And even the worst of the worst qbs are projected for one td per game. Kind of hard for a qb not to get 10 points. So you should still get that on the few games you don’t use your starter.

Just if you do lose your starter you might have a real problem.

I have found it more useful to roster 2 defenses than 2 QBs in these leagues.

Agreed. Thafs why I almost took a third. It wasn’t for face taking the chiefs, I would have.

Got a little lucky there as he wasn't 100% and I had another top flight option from the draft. I typically don't carry more than 1 TE but did so in a couple leagues this year
