It's true that Randall Cunningham alienated his teammates as his career went on, when the success went to his head following the "Ultimate Weapon" SI cover. His wedding where he had 1,000 people at Trump's Taj Mahal casino with Whitney Houston and Johnny Gill and a bunch of other stars apparently also convinced people Randall was a little obsessed with being seen as a celebrity.

That said, I think McNabb may have been more controversial with teammates. I think it only came out late in his career and was muddled due to the TO situation. TO called him a bad leader, and it was probably true, but since TO said it people didn't believe it.

Drew Bledsoe and Carson Palmer >>>>>McNabb and should be in the HOF well before any writers seriously considers McNabb.

McNabb was pretty damn good, but probably not a HOF. Them again, gimp-ass Terrell Davis made it, so if Donovan makes it too, then more power to him. Fuck anybody who doesnt agree.

When you make the pro bowl 6 times you’re a good player. I know borderline players have made the pro bowl but when you are a perennial pro bowl with an MVP runner up you were a damn good player and he was damn good. He was really fantastic 2000-2004.
Saying McNabb sucked is just ridiculous. He had putrid Offensive talent and the one year he had a great WR he was fantastic and the first guy to throw for over 30 TDs and less then 10 Ints. You saying he sucked is just stupid. He was a really good, legit (6 time) pro bowler. He was special I’m he had a great deep ball and was fantastic at extending plays. I’ve never heard anyone call a 6 time pro bowler with an MVP runner up season as someone who sucked. He was a really good player and was special in the early 2000’s. He did so much with soooo little help on offense.
I mean there are non Eagle fans saying he is a borderline Hall of Famer.
How many pro bowls did McNabb go to?
Was he really good?
Did he have an AMVP season? That seems to be the norm in Philly.

I'm asking because I didn't get it the first 25 times:doh:

One of my alltime favorites.

Sucks that he had a crazy mistress. And all of those injuries. He was a helluva man.

Having Jeff Fisher as his HC is what really fucked off McNair's career.

At the time, I didn't even notice how bad JF sucked.

He had so much talent on those teams they won despite him.

I'm not sure you can really say Aikman was clutch in the playoffs . His stats were mediocre and Dallas never , not one time, played a one score game ( in a win or a loss ) with him at QB in the playoffs . Doesn't mean he wouldn't have came through , just that he never really had the chance

Team game.

Like the Pats last year and likely this year.

Run the ball, play some defence.

And throw well when you do throw.

Sure but we've still seen Brady make late drives to win playoff games , lead comebacks etc. Aikman never really did that . He just never had the chance . So you can call him a winner but I think it's a stretch to call him clutch . Maybe he would've been , maybe not . Never had to find out

He throws a nice deep pass but his accuracy on 7-10 yard outs and slants weren't great.
Dude threw more balls into the dirt than any QB ever.

He could get in eventually, but this whole comparison to Aikman is retarded af. The game changed a whole lot between their respective eras. Comparing yourself to a guy from a decade earlier is dopey af, particularly this span of time, when the game changed so much in favor of offenses.

Of course we have.

Brady does what he needs to do.

BB does what they need to do.

As you said, never had to find it out with Aikman. But he was solid.

He just can't shut up. He makes himself look like a dumbass whiner by trying to use the media to push him into the HoF. It may or may not work but one thing for sure is he'll probably be making his rounds to tell everyone his sob story and how he should get in.

Ultimately I'm not sure there's ever been a guy without a ring who ranked outside the top 10 in yards and TDs who ever made the Hall . You either got to have rings or numbers . McNabb has neither

Those worm burners were maddening and he wasn’t an all time great but for a while he was damn good. I’m not one saying he should be a HOF guy but it’s stupid for @Schmoopy1000 to say “McNabb sucked”. He was a damn good QB and if Dallas had a QB as good as McNabb now they’d have a ring.
