Ok folks, here it is! The 2014 MBBRL "Old Timers" Suicide League Draft and all things Suicide League thread hosted by TREFF the Commish....................here's a recent picture of him hard at work.

Hello out there. .... 3 days to proposed kickoff of the league. Are we still a go ? Draft positions settled ?

If we are taking a tally, I vote to just randomize draft order day of draft.
i would just think that it would be easier to do that way

Perhaps for some but others would like to know. I personally do not care one way or the other. However, I don't think you can do an automatic (site) randomized draft for established ESPN leagues..... so someone still has to do something using some method/criteria - we can't each pull numbers from a hat.

im not part of this but there should be a setting on espn that says randomize draft order set 1 hour prior to draft...........

I could very well be mistaken, but I don't see an option for them to randomize a Draft order for an offline Draft. Online Draft yes. .offline? Anyone is welcome to correct me if I'm wrong

Yes. But having ESPN randomize the draft order is a lot faster than having Treff rope his daughter into pulling names from a hat. Especially if the hat has been on that smoking skull.

Did not see that, and the options I did see all applied only to online drafts. Results in 5..4..3..2...

When are you guys starting the draft, and how you guys doing it?? Just want advice since it seems like I am in charge of the other Suicide league...

I believe we're starting Friday (time, I'm not sure). We'll be posting our picks here, and I believe there's a 24 hour clock to make a pick... it's unlikely anyone will time-out, as I'm not sure which rankings we'd use to place an "auto pick".

I'm not sure if it was ever addressed for the suicide league, but I know we dissed that idea for the standard league. My assumption is the same rules would apply. . But obviously could be open for a discussion/vote.
