He must've mellowed with age. In a town that loves to cling to bad memories Hull never got a lot of press here. And he lived in the area.

Domestic battery... no excuses, but maybe the boozing didnt help either.
No excuse for the Hitler comments either, but the version i heard was it was a topic someone else mentioned to Hull and his remarks were taken out of context.

As for Dennis, he lived in the area too. Never heard a bad word from either of them about the other.

Quiet guy, not a wordsmith by any means in interviews. But what a classic example he set by his leadership.

He always seemed to me like he was riding Kane's coattails. Then you look at what he has does and realize he was top 10 if not top 5 of the last 15 years.

The NFL draft is right around the corner!!
And that training camps, preseason, week 1, and possibly the next ice age, are all likely to happen before they're over.

I certainly remember Toes as a pain for the DU Pioneers at North Dakota. Toews and Oshie were the wings on ND's first line. The centerman won the Hobey Baker and he never played in NHL. Toews was a great player.
