So my in laws were in town this past weekend and my father in law wanted to watch game 2.

Even with the hometown AV's being able to do whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted to do it, and being a game with plenty of scoring (imo), I couldn't get I to it at all

I tried...home team, the finals..just nothing

I noticed no change in my attitude towards the broadcast from the drop of the puck, until TB squatted on the puck the final 5 seconds.

If it was the blowout being the issue, I'd expect a difference

The blowouts lose my interest in any sports unless it's my team winning these days, but that's mostly due to work and family life garnering much more attention than what they did previously. I didn't finish either of the last 2 cup games into the 3rd

I saw it on last night, it was 'behind' my opaque live TV grid of options...I backed out of that, fired up HBOMAX and re-watched 4 episodes of Game of Thrones

Shouldn't there be like a mercy rule?
Ya know, if you win by more than 5 and shut out the opponent, it's just over and done? Or at least that win counts as 2 towards the series?

Being no hit in the world series...your done, series over, or at least worth 2
