Rookies have their place.
If you're drafting them late for depth, or because of their potential/situation, I understand.
But if you're drafting them as your starters, swinging for the fences, count me out.

Best concert I ever saw hands down was Queen. Everything, the lights, the music, the vibe - awesome.
Most fun I had at a concert was Cheap Trick outdoors, especially after the food fight broke out.
Van Halen and Rush were always quality shows.
One group I regret not seeing live in their heyday: Aerosmith

I like Queen too but never saw them live. Best concerts for me; 3 Dog Night (in their prime) and my all time favor group - The Eagles, seen them in the 70's, 80, 90's and 2000's.

My wife is going to Celine Dion in Montreal in August. She asked if I wanted to go, and after I stopped choking with laughter, I told her to wait until I'm done chewing next time! ......and no thanks.

Never been but Bandit and his brother have seen him several times down towards Miami. I think all of his are outdoors and according to them - there are few sober and not high, people ever seen. They went to one and it rained. One dude was so wiped out his buddies just put a paper bag over him and left. .....

Best concerts?
Both US Festivals (and honestly regret not staying for day 3 to see Bowie)
Various punk bands in the LA area
Black Flag somewhere in LA
Metallica with Suicidal
Metallica with Korn 4 times
Anthrax under an alias at a freaking night club

Oh yeah, GNR and Aerosmith. Highly recommend seeing Stevie Tyler, dude is amazing, even to a metal head/punk rock old dude like me.

Bands I never saw but really regret not seeing have to be Slayer, Tool, Slipknot.............

@Yellow Fuzzies
So I saw Metallica, Korn and KId Rock at Mile High Stadium in like 2000ish..........I love the city of Denver but for a concert, Mile High kinda sucked................what did you think?

I am 60 so I am older too. I grew up in the Aspen Valley in Colorado when things were a little loose. I have a pin that says "I may be old but I got to see all the cool bands". I went to a lot of concerts in the '70s- I can't remember all that I went to and some that I did go to are a little fuzzy. Some of the highlights:
-Crosby, Stills Nash and Young at Mile Hi Stadium general admission on the field, 20 feet from the stage.
-Rolling Stones
-Pink Floyd for their Dark side of the Moon concert
-Black Sabbath in 1973 when Ozzie was still coherent
-Eric Clapton
-Bob Dillon while he was still accustic
-Led Zeplin
-Stevie Ray Vaghn
-George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers
-REO Speedwagon
-ZZ Top
-Leon Russell, Johnny and Edgar Winter
-Jimmy Buffett

My all time favorite would have to be the 5th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival in 1977- 3 day event (this year will be 45th annual). Went with 10 guys with 4 wheel drive vehicles and we camped on the mountain overlooking the venue (can't do that anymore). Oh and by the way, I met my wife that weekend and we married 5 years later.

Seen those guys. wish I would have seen WASP, Nugent would be cool to see and never really liked Queensryche.
Funny thing is, here in little Pocatello, Idaho, we just had a venue built. Now, this isn't my fav music by far, but we've had Tesla, Def Leppard, Styx (who I actually saw in the late 90's) and we have Boston. Poison, Dokken, Ratt and Lita Ford coming this summer..........

growing up in the 80s I saw most of the Hair Metal bands.

Now I have gotten older and my wife drags me into Canada to see things like Reba or Trace Adkins.
