I know, right? Millen would trade a player as soon as they were tagged with "Pro Bowler" so he didn't have to deal with the high contract demands from that player. Millen is Dr Evil-er's kind of President/GM by taking the easy way out instead of moving money around to keep and add talent. NO guts, NO glory!!
Holy shit, wherever you were educated they should be ashamed. If I had to guess it is probably the Saginaw School system that Principal was in charge of.

I have said about a million times that successful cap mgmt is about proper layering, structure, risk, and vision. If you had even a basic understanding of the cap or even general money mgmt you might get it. Unfortunately for you pretty much any statement addressing the cap other than to say that one exists is completely over your head.

Year after year the Utes front 7 is awesome, and the secondary gets torched. Once it gets to the draft though, the db's get drafted and the front 7 goes untouched. I think Utah gets athletes for the back field, but they don't become football players until after they reach the NFL.

That being said, I don't think Rowe was targeted that often because the other side was weak. Rowe is not afraid to tackle in run support and I think he would be fine as either CB or S, but it might take a bit of time for him to get there. Similar to Sean Smith, who put it together for his second team.

I prefer Rowe at Safety. I don't love his in game speed on deep balls. In college he was able to recover okay and get a hand on the ball but I'm not sure he has the speed to do that in the NFL. Don't get me wrong, he is fast, probably a 4.4 guy. He just seemed hesitant when covering long developing routes. He appears to have good vision and at Safety he could watch the play develop and react accordingly. Man to man just seems like he would get torched. In all fairness to him, it was his first year playing CB. Perhaps good coaching and technique could sway my opinion.

LpinSLC, do you think Rowe has the strength to play up in the box as a S, run stop, blitz and still be able to drop in coverage with as good or better instincts as Ihedigbo ? He's 6'1 205 or somewhere there. Maybe needs to put on 10 lbs of muscle

He was good in run support. Not afraid of contact. Dropping into coverage from a blitzing position is the very thing I'm unsure of. He's got raw speed but I question his technique. With proper technique, I'm sure his in-game speed would improve dramatically. Hard to say how he'd compare to Ihedigbo, Ihedigbo has proven competent at the NFL level, Rowe hasn't even got there yet.

So I guess my earlier conversation (with no reply) was right about LMW being Principal.

I hope for your own sake that Kenmore box is loaded with feathers to break the fall.
Newspapers Gandy. Months and months of newspapers. (The Cleveland Plain Dealer was excited for Josh Gordon in 2015, back in December. Says so right here on my blanket.)

He's gonna let us all down by not letting me down.

And maybe this is just a random acid flashback, but LWM has been playing fantasy baseball and football with the board fer years right? Swear I know his name en sech.

we're @ 125 MM of a proposed 143 MM with 53 players on the roster not including recent addition DE Hunt, so I guess sometime Sunday, Tully (3.2 M cap save) and Jones (3.150 M cap save) get the axe and ol Matty restructures his 2015 base salary of 9.5M moving 8M of that down the road. Presto the can has been kicked and there's 14.350M added to the Suh TAG FUND. :mad2: .... The only good thing with that scenario above is that there's money left (about 5+M) for the draft and maybe Mosley

all my papers are stained. someone in here obviously gets new ones and/or is more tidy/carful than others living out of a box ? :noidea:

waiting for the evil-er to respond now and cuss me out

off topic, but wtf with DD brining back Joba. Joba was really good in the 1st half last year, like a 2.67 era, but absolutely sh*t the bed after the all-star break with above 5.50 era. bad move, right along with getting rid of ricky and probably even smiley, once they lose price also next year to FA.

For the money not a bad deal. Don't see him being setup guy. Still better than seeing Coke on the mound! As I said on the Tigers board. Hanrahan not being ready prolly forced this signing.

I like the Joba deal.

Its only a Mil, and I have no faith in Rondon or Hanrahanrahan. I also dont see Al NewMexico being not awful again for an entire year. If Joba sucks it up again, just cut him. Or trade him for Don Kelly.........

I'm not convinced Hanny can make it back but if he regains his 2011-2012 form he might work for a yr., maybe. Rondon still a question mark regardless of their B.S. talk so far on how he's progressed in rehab.

I guess Joba fills a spot, temporarily. yeah, he was on the cheap with incentives so maybe not a totally ass move.

don't you dare talk sh*t about Kelly :nono:

so maybe Joba will be relegated to 6th inning duties or a 1-2 out in 7th

The Ricky deal was dumb as hell Almost as dumb as The Simon trade. But not as dumb as what Msyhew is about to do. (I think he does his work on Sunday in order to allow breathng room. Which wont matter, even he gets Suh to sign a long term after a CJ rework were screwed down the road)

If Suh doesn't get tagged, he won't be back, IMO. Raiders, Colts (moreso), Jags, Jets, Brownies will be making it rain for him. JMHO on this soon to be extravaganza. yep, even in those 3-4 base def teams, -Jags
