I expect them to make the playoffs.

But, depending on the matchup...

No correction necessary. This isn't the roster they are going to be trying to contend with.

If they don't land any top guys and/or the kids don't continue to develop, it's pretty safe to say that they will make some kind of moves to improve the team.

Considering the timing of PG's announcement...the entire rest of the league was "rebuffed", not just the Lakers since there were several teams with cap space that were expecting to make a run at PG.
