Max Kellerman makes First Take watchable

More intelligent conversations have happened on the show in the time Kellerman took over for Bayless than during Bayless' whole tenure. I've always thought Kellerman was underrated and he was being wasted on a show like SportsNation. As soon as he was announced as Skip's replacement I knew I would have to tune in to see how it goes.

He was on his way up (starting with Around The Horn and Friday Night Fights) before he left for Fox $port$. He bounced around for a while from Fox, to MSNBC, to ESPN radio, to HBO and to CNN. He made his way back at ESPN starting with SportsNation.

He seems like he's been around forever, but is only 43.

I used to have the TV on ESPN2 while getting ready for work in order to listen to Mike and Mike. I would also leave the TV on for my dog while gone. I was always sure to change the channel before leaving so my dog would not have to watch First Take.
