Ha ha! They traded him to the Yankees near the end of the season. I was sorry to see him go. He and Longoria made a solid middle of the lineup but both were injured a lot. Yankees just wanted him for the stretch run and cut him when the season was over. He signed with the Phillies the other day.

homer bailey is set to be released. i don’t know how much i like this trade

all about clearing payroll. Bailey won't be much of a factor in this trade. Helps clear up the OF logjam the Dodgers had as well to make more room for Verdugo... or Harper.

the prospects are pretty intriguing too, especially if Downs can stick at shortstop.
