Tl;dr - Matt Canada will be working much more closer to Kenny Pickett on a daily basis. They are calling it a "promotion".
Under Center 100% Run
Shotgun 96% Pass
I can't wrap my head around this...

Tomlin. 100%. His lack of a coaching tree is deliberate.2 of the most punchable faces in the history of punchable faces
You know I'm all for stability and what not, but I absolutely LOATHE that we have to suffer through 3 years of something before they admit failure & move on.
Canada is lulling future D's into expecting the run from under center. He's going to start scorching them with play action soon!!!
Essentially they are setting up their QB to fail. I don't care which young QB you have, none could work in this offense. We've been saying it all season. The announcers are picking up on the repetitiveness. If we all can see it, the guys being paid millions to counter his offense sure as hell are too. Players are calling it on the field every week.
Canada is cooked. And if he isn't fired this week, Tomlin needs to start taking the heat, because continuing this is his fault. And it all stops at Rooney's desk. Every season I see him more like I see Dan Snyder.
Steven Nelson picks off Steelers, gets win vs. former team

Nelson, who spent the 2019-20 seasons with the Steelers, got the Texans off to a tremendous start. On Pittsburgh's first offensive series of the game, he intercepted QB Kenny Pickett. The veteran CB picked off Pickett's pass, intended for WR Calvin Austin III, and returned it 33 yards to the Pittsburgh 45-yard line."It was just all film study, man," Nelson said. "You know, watching what they do, what they were successful at. They hit the same player, same formation look like last week, they scored on the touchdown versus Vegas. And I was just ready for it. Recognizing the formation and the player who they run the post with, and it just allowed me to go out there and make a play on the ball."
Kenny hasn't been perfect, not by a long shot. But he has no chance to develop and succeed like this.Essentially they are setting up their QB to fail. I don't care which young QB you have, none could work in this offense.
