If Tomlin and Canada would have let Pickett and Pickens develop chemistry this would have been 6 pts.

Really a thing of beauty too bad it was dropped.

And when he missed Pickens over the middle. Yeah, the pass could have been better but once again not letting them gain chemistry killed that play.

He had a few good runs where he actually avoided the blocker and ran through the seam. When he does that he is impressive, it drives me nuts when he runs into the back of the blocker.
Yep, need to Learn to take whats given to him.
Honestly I didn't think of Diontae since they already paid him.
Weirdly I am not concerned about the development of Muth. He seems to be pretty poised out there already, yeah he does drop a few, but that goes with the territory of catching footballs in Pittsburgh. :D
Yeah , just that diontae is still young …but he is established

Oh I agree he needs to develop more. It was just me not thinking of him since he was paid already.

Have a bad feeling this year is going to set him back.

2 things stick out to me in this video...

1. Pickens is going about 60% speed here... Either he thought he was simply a decoy or he was ass tired. Boykin runs 4.4 speed so why not give him a rep if George is that tired?

2. All 4 receivers (TE included) run go routes with a single RB underneath route. Just zero imagination & putting this all on the QB to make a throw. Kenny delivers, but man wtf. Run some combo crossers or the 'stacked slants' to put more pressure on the DBs to make the right reads.

Oh totally that play was all about execution, and they are expecting a rookie QB to be perfect 100% of the time. It is total nonsense the pressure they are putting on him to be a 10-year veteran clone of Ben.
