Would be nice to see the lineup produce too. Texas's pitching isn't exactly good. And while the M's have a nice win streak going against the Rangers they've had to grind out damn near every single one of those wins. Hopefully they can pile on some runs in this series.

Figured given the day off I'd start this thread now since our series threads are sort of our de-facto season discussion location.

Will the Mariners play down to their competition? Time will tell.

With the Mariners, they seem to play to the level of their competition most of the time. If they are playing a gutter team they play gutterball too. If playing a solid team, they follow suit and play decent ball.

When Haniger leaves at the end of the year, a guy I would like to get for RF if we can't get Judge or another stud is Adolis Garcia. I like his game. It would cost a bit since he isn't a free agent until 2027, but if the price were right...

You've been more right on Haniger than I have been, but I wouldn't rule out him being extended.

We don't have the depth at OF we thought we had. Knee Lewis, sorry Kyle Lewis is always hurt and got sent down to AAA. We have Winker and Julio at left and center respectively, and whenever Haniger has been healthy he has been a big contributor. I think he'd settle for a one year deal. I think he's invested in this team. Time will tell though.

Winker kind of sucks in the outfield. He's slow and let's everything get past him.
