They shouldn't have to spend any of their own money. All money generated through baseball should fun their teams. I would not ask any owner to go in debt to fund the team.

No idea if true or not (can’t remember which podcast I heard it from) but the LA is basically having those contracts paid for by advertisers in Japan. Never heard that. Did hear rumblings about them owning the Japanese league (not actually but through deals). That has to stop.
