Or something the owners should do, is drastically slash prices on everything. These cheap bastards are charging fans like they spend like the Dodgers or are a NFL or NBA team where you have one home game a week

That would take several years of bad teams and a consistently 80% empty stadium. First couple years prices freeze and than slowly drop until the FO/ownership gets serious about winning.

I was about to message that to you. I’ve never heard Doyle before but personally I think he is an idiot and why I despise analytics people. His comparison with Haniger/Emerson to Kelenic is moronic, Jerry was done with Kelenic so it’s nowhere near the same. One positive for his take is I will say it’s positive that will all of his horrible takes, he didn’t say Emerson is a 3B.

But too be fair, I was done listening to him when he talked about Montes and Arroyo.

I read the Kelenic trade was solely to rid themselves of Marco's contract. And Jerry was done with Kelenic.

I would have hated them dealing one of their top 5 just to save money. That is a bush-league move.
