I’m telling you guys, they are going to talk about Williamson and Young like they are HOFers during spring training.

Or something the owners should do, is drastically slash prices on everything. These cheap bastards are charging fans like they spend like the Dodgers or are a NFL or NBA team where you have one home game a week

That would take several years of bad teams and a consistently 80% empty stadium. First couple years prices freeze and than slowly drop until the FO/ownership gets serious about winning.

I was about to message that to you. I’ve never heard Doyle before but personally I think he is an idiot and why I despise analytics people. His comparison with Haniger/Emerson to Kelenic is moronic, Jerry was done with Kelenic so it’s nowhere near the same. One positive for his take is I will say it’s positive that will all of his horrible takes, he didn’t say Emerson is a 3B.

But too be fair, I was done listening to him when he talked about Montes and Arroyo.

I read the Kelenic trade was solely to rid themselves of Marco's contract. And Jerry was done with Kelenic.

I would have hated them dealing one of their top 5 just to save money. That is a bush-league move.

Well that is true. Kelenic isn’t the same cause he wore out his welcome with Jerry and Jerry was looking to get rid of him somehow. IMO it was more of a two birds with one stone thing. Just personally I think he is delusional thinking it would take Colt Emerson to get rid of Haniger just because Jerry got rid of Kelenic. IMO it’s an apples to oranges scenario.

IMO Haniger would be gone already if they had an Alonso type deal set lined up or if they got a reliever in FA cause Santos or Taylor with maybe a lottery ticket prospect were the rumors that I read attached to Haniger. But right now they don’t have anyone to fill that role. They don’t have anyone in the farm system and Raley is the 1B right now.
