Yep, with the pitching being some of our issues now - we are definitely in trouble... Mariners new slogan should be, "Breaking Bad"...

I really don’t think pitching is an issue. Yeah they got destroyed most of the past few days. It was bound to happen, not to the extent ideally, but I think it is more cause Miller is very very very young as a starter. My only fear with the pitching staff is if they get a Felix complex in terms of trying to be perfect cause outside of Castillo none on the staff are IMO mature enough to handle that. Could be way off though.

Both a very young. Especially Miller, he has been a starter at a high level for what 3 years now? I’m really not concerned at all with Kirby. On paper San Diego is better offensively than the Yankees and he did fine. It just happens but problem is with the Mariners is we as fans notice it a lot more because we have been conditioned if the other team gets 3 runs in the first few innings the game is basically over. That’s why the playoff game in Toronto was so amazing.

Good questions, but my response would be that Dipoto didn't give Servais a 100 win team, but he gave him a team that shouldn't be getting blown out on a regular basis. To be frank I don't know what the exact solutions are, but this is not a team that should be getting destroyed like they have been lately.
