I love Cuban. Not a Mavericks fan, but I love his style. I love what the new majority owner for the Phillies said yesterday as well. I posted it somewhere. Basically said you own a team to win otherwise don't own a team.

I have said for years that if leagues want to fix the problems of profit over winning owners all they need to do is put all revenue throughout the league into a kitty and pay it out at the end of the year based on placed finished. Earn it. It would be awesome. If the A's of the world want to do what they did this year, they get the bottom payout. Make winning a major bonus.

That's an interesting thought I can buy into. The A's franchise is basically giving the city a big F U for not being able to come up with a stadium so they won't be spending much until they head to Vegas.

We likely would have generated more hits, more base runners and potential to at least score a run or 2 had every single batter bunted all game long.

Throwing or fielding mistakes, beating it out or bunting it over the drawn in infield that is expecting another bunt.

I cannot wrap my brain around a line up full of professional hitters who cannot hit.
