What a difference having conpetant hitters in front of Cano makes. Jackson and Ackley is light years better then Jones and Chavez. This lineup still has some holes but I feel alot better about it then I did 10 days ago.

Get back Saunders and put him in RF... Or replace Hart and let him DH!

Was out with the girlfriend today so I was unable to catch the game.

Great to see Ackley continue hitting well. Hopefully he somehow manages to keep hitting like this. With the way Chris Taylor has been hitting, it's not a surprise that Brad Miller has been riding the bench.

I never thought Dustin Ackley and "competent hitter" would ever be used in the same sentence again without an "is not" in between.

The thing about Ackley was that he was a very good hitter in college. He comes to the MLB and I still think the talent was there, but his confidence was just absolutely shot.

Hopefully Z will learn to shorten his swing in certain situation. Just need contact when there is a guy on 3rd with one out

Outscored just 5-1 in their losses on this trip. Even a bad offense and not aputrid offense has them running away with a playoffspot right now

I'm not even shocked anymore when this crap happens, these chumpires will keep calling crap like this and nothing will change. "The human element" strikes again.

The chumpire went with the Mariano Rivera strike zone in the bottom of the 9th where the pitcher didn't even have to throw near the plate to get the call.

It was like this one from a couple of years ago when Morse struck out to end the game with this pitch. http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/2626917/StrikeThree_.gif

You can tell the ump knew it wasn't a strike either. He paused, thought about it, said what the heck I want to go home and called the strike

Hate how MLB never holds their umps accountable for these egregious calls.
