Monday June 30 - Taijuan Walker vs. Collin McHugh

Tuesday July 1 - Hisashi Iwakuma vs. Jarred Cosart

Wednesday July 2 - Chris Young vs. Brad Peacock

Winnable games, but Kuma is going to have to rebound from his last start and the bats are going to have to be alive against our rivals ; )

I'd rather they were facing Keuchel than McHugh in Minute Maid Park. McHugh's home stats are ridiculous .181 BAA and 1.09 WHIP.

They did rough up McHugh in Houston back in May. 4 In, 8 hits, 5 ER but he did toss 6.2 shutouts innings at Safeco. Hopefully seeing him for the 3rd time this year, there wont be many surprises.

There shouldn't be a pitch count or anything on Walker tonight considering he threw over 100 pitches in his CG shutout in his last Tacoma start, so that's a plus. Hopefully he'll pitch well and we won't have to worry about the 5th spot in the rotation anymore this season. On the hitting side of things, I'd like to see Seager bring his hot hitting on the road for this trip and for the rest of the trips the team goes on this season. His home/road splits are far too lopsided right now and there's no reason they should be. He's too good a hitter for it to stay that way.

He also sports a 4.11 home ERA, which is unexpectedly high given his other home stats.

walker showing that 3 starts last year against garbage teams might not quite be enough to warrant his panacea-like hype.

good for him to get out of that 1st inning only giving up the 2 runs. hope he can settle down now. great to see him out there, no matter what.

Saunders!

This guy has all the tools to be a good everyday outfielder. I really hope what we're seeing this year is his official coming out party and the new Michael Saunders we will see from now on

Nice shot Cano! 6 homers now on the year. If he gets a hot 2nd half he can still reach 20.

I was actually pretty impressed with Walker tonight. He didnt seem like he had his A stuff and had trouble locating early but hung in there and put up a solid game. Just the mental aspect in itself is an upgrade over Erasmo. It will be a treat to see him when he has his good stuff.
