Series Thread: Mariners @ A's 5/2 - 5/4

Potential double whammy of awesomeness tonight if we beat Gray and Kuma gets his 1st win of the season.

A's are the team I dislike the least in our own division, but this is still pretty great.

Maybe it's because I'm NorCal born and raised (got my M's fandom from my Washington born dad), but the A's are my most disliked team. Oakland is the only place I've seen regular season M's action. Also seen a game in Peoria and one at Raley Field. I thought I misremembered that, but sure enough after a quick google search, Seattle and the Rangers played an exhibition game back in '02 in Sacramento, of all places.

I was actually an Angels fan as a kid (lived in Lancaster/Palmdale area until I was 12 or so), and then moved to Merced a couple of years after that, so we were in the Giants/A's fandom area as well.

I just like the way Beane works. Not having Cesspooldes around anymore helps, too.

We have a (huge) T.V. at my work so I was finding a reason to walk by it now and then. However, I had to interview someone and missed the go ahead home run

Awesome series sweeep. The M's showing some fight in games were they get down. Felix got roughed up, the errors didn't help. I kinda expect it to happen to him a little more often now. If he isn't dialed in he probably going to get slapped around a little.

My wife and I lived in Lemoore, CA for 2 years when we were first married 24+ years ago. There were a lot of Giants fans there in that area for sure. My boss back then at a small sports store in Hanford use to go Giants games all the time. Sorry if I mentioned this before...old memory. Seeing Merced brought back memories.
