LOL, aren't we all angry enough watching the Rams blow it tonight? Now you are gonna bring up Marcus Cooper. Anyway, I think Cooper is probably better. I give him the edge because of his length and size. The big guys who are athletic enough to play the CB position are hard to find.

Brock by far. He has the best rating at CB right now. Lets also be fair they aren't covering #1 WRs so the numbers are a little bit of a lie.

At this point I think Brock is slightly better due to his technique, moving forward Cooper will be MUCH better IMO. Brock isn't that far ahead of Cooper I my opinion and Cooper has tons of upside. So if you are asking which I would rather have, I would probably say Cooper because we need a young talented guy to can be a long-term weapon for them.

They both have exceeded expectations. With Tarrell Brown, Chris Culliver, and Tramaine Brock, we should be fine at CB for the near future.

A developmental CB I really like in the draft is Charles Sawyer. I'd take a real hard look at him in 4th/5th round.

agree assuming we re-sign Brown?

Baalke will always be trying to upgrade whether FA or draft, but at worse case we're fine with this trio.

Brock is also a free agent at the end of the season. I know Baalke recently said the 49ers are actively trying to extend some guys and I bet Brock and Brown are part of that group.

I don't think we re-sign Brown, I think he'll ask too much money and frankly he might be pissed off about the way things went down with his contract. We will see though.

I have read from beat writers that the team wants to sign Wright long term so that could also be a possibility.

At this point I would believe that Brock would be part in the ****** plans more so than Brown.

yes, Wright is also a possibility.

but if we're talking long term contract, he needs gets on the field with this defensive Unit. he'll need to show potential in order to get a long term contract.

But a bitch aint one!

I won't feel so bad about SF losing Rogers & Brown if SF nabs a top CB in the draft (or 2 of 'em) and gets a decent pair of comp picks. Really is a shame if SF loses Brown, though, because I *LOVED* the Brown pick when it happened, and have been a huge fan of his ever since he left Texas.
