Simply amazed how bad these college teams are at ft shooting in big moments.

All dude needed was 1 and we would at least be in OT

He's a 67 percent shooter for a reason. He was well above average then regressed to the mean.

Generally it is a good point though. The other one that bugs me is in a close game, when teams get the ball with around 45-50 seconds left, why don't they go down and put up a quick three? It's essentially a free possession at that point. The other team is going to get it once regardless. Why not get the two for one? Seems like teams always run it down to about 25 seconds then shoot .

Was at the Idaho Saturday session... Kentucky & Gonzaga both stepped up and played better.

Kentucky vs. Buffalo... My unicorn team Buffalo failed to live up to the hype. They had the home crowd decisively in their favor. They played good, sound basketball... But they failed to make the shots that were landing for them in the first round against Arizona. #2 Harris was a hero in round 1, but against Kentucky he was ice cold. Buffalo couldn't get any momentum going but got plenty of good looks to keep things interesting. By the middle of the 2nd period you could tell Buffalo was gassed and had no answers. Kentucky looked dominant. They skirted through the game with the majority of their playmakers in foul trouble but somehow made ends meet. Sad ending for Buffalo, but it looks like Kentucky woke up and are ready to make a good push.

Gonzaga vs. OSU... Zags had a great following for their games. Being somewhat local, they were projected to be a home team of sorts. They came to play yesterday and did not disappoint. Game started off 15-0 or some shit like that. Zags were hot out the gate and they kept up a great up-tempo basketball game throughout the 1st period. OSU started to find a rhythm but couldn't erase the deficit. It wasn't until the 2nd period when OSU came out hot and Zags went ice cold. I swear that south end basket was jinxed because OSU couldn't hit nothing on it in the 1st period, and then Gonzaga had a helluva time with it in the 2nd. It took all of 1 minute or less at the start of the 2nd period for OSU to erase the 11-pt deficit. And in the following minutes OSU took their first lead of the game and it looked very grim for Gonzaga. They rallied though and got a momentum swing at the right time with about 3-5mins remaining. They rode that all the way to the finish line. Need to see more consistency, but the improvement from Rd 1 to 2 was night & day.
