What the fuck did this team from Sunday until tonight? Hell, what happened at halftime because obviously one team came out and wanted it and the other didn't. Congrats UMBC.

They were the closest thing too it. This certainly isn't 2015, but they were clearly the best team this season, followed closely by Nova. After that there was a gap IMO.

Best team going into the tourney? Sure. One of the best 1-seeds ever? No one with credibility was saying that.

There's a reason that the teams that win the championship tend to be in the top 20 in offensive and defensive efficiency. When you are weak on one of them, you are gonna run into trouble when some other team has an insane shooting day or your offense goes cold.

UVA's offense isn't great. UMBC has shot out of their mind. That's a terrible combo.

The only bad part about this game is that the hot takes about Bennett ball will become even hotter.

I feel really bad for him. The reality is that he took a 4-5 caliber seed to a 1 seed and perception of him is gonna suffer because of it.

I almost feel bad for Virginia. And then I think of every elitist frat-boy I have known who has went to that university and I don't feel as bad any more.
