Having a deal with Fox is irrelevant. And I have never heard the disclaimer that Power Five only applies to Football, as in " Power Five Football Only".

How is having a TV deal with FOX irrelevant? It is a major network that broadcasts Big East basketball games. Mid and low major conferences can't say that they have that.

and yes, P5 is a college football term because college football drives the bus. You will never see a non-P5 get into the CFB playoff in its current figuration. You can't say the same for CBB.
