I picked Zags to go far and even had them beating my team or winning that region in almost every one of my brackets. The reason is because of their performance the last two seasons, but I guess most of those players aren't there anymore. Rui Hachimura or whatever has 1st round talent and athleticism and he looks like a terrible player.

Gonzaga has been hot and cold all year. This is not the first game Hachimura has had like this, and then he'll turn around and put up 20 the next game. Gonzaga did not play well, but they managed to grind out the win. I was impressed with Williams (FT shooting aside), Perkins and Norvell came up clutch the last couple minutes of the game on both ends of the floor. Full credit to UNCG too, they played really well and made a bunch of pretty tough shots.

I expect Gonzaga to be much better on Saturday. They rarely play this poorly 2 games in a row. Doesn't necessarily mean they'll win, but it should be a better looking game.

NC State has looked like shit since the regular season ended. Lost to BC in the 2nd round of the ACCT and is down by double digits early to Seton Hall.

My memory sucks. Every year I forget these games start at 11:15 AMish. Ball games are on so I'm thinking it is about 6:00 pm. I'm too old to start drinking that early and don't remember it until it is too late.

Ohio State looks "fresh" to me. If the other B1G teams follow suit there may be something to that layoff from having the conference tourney early. We shall see.
