I don't think it will prohibit them. If they could've broken a press they would've been in the final 4 a couple yrs ago. That collapse against cuse was epic

And, Virginia's style of play will prohibit them from winning six games in three weeks against top competition in a one and done tournament, but more exclusively they can own all the "regular season teams they want but it won't make them NCAA Champions.

I just don't buy that. In a span of 14 days this season, UVa beat 3 teams that are now in the sweet 16 (Clemson, Duke and Syracuse). Once Bennett can get them to overcome adversity, they will break through. It has nothing to do with their style of play.

UNC's issue is that Tony Bradley declared early. He was a late 1st round pick, UNC usually gets those type of guys to stay for one more year. They just haven't hit their shots today and their big guys are just too raw right now to compete with Texas A&M's post players.

Wooden was at UCLA 16 years before winning the title.
Coach K was at Duke 11 years before winning the title.
Bennett has been at UVA for 9 years now, and continues to reach newer heights each year. Yeah, UVa choked this year, but we aren't going away. I guarantee you if every school fired their coach this offseason, Bennett would be in the top 3 of each school's coach search.

And BEST TEAM doesn't always win a title do they? Ask NC State1983 or Nova 1985

It doesn't matter what you do during the year if you don't show up when the tournament starts and UVA just didn't show up.

At the same time, you cannot be better than Champions

They need to stop being mental midgets when they get down by a half dozen points or so because things go south quickly when that happens.
