No one wants that distraction in their locker room right now.


That said, the Pats will probably draft him in the 3rd or 4th and turn him into a stud. They have the leadership and locker room control to handle the story.

Ok, he he is telling truth he still looks like a gullible guy that doesnt provide leadership. Ok he drops out of top 10 and prob gets picked up in late 1st round by Pats or Bengals. If not early 2nd.

Ok, if he did lie about the hoax. He is out of 1st round. Nobody will take a chance on a liar and they can't trust him. He could go mid 2nd maybe 3rd round, after being a top-5 pick before NCG and 6th overall after.

This is definitley a concern and WILL affect his draft stock no matter what happens.

He had one hundred plus tackles 3 straight seasons, above average. This season he had the most picks by a linebacker in around 6 years and 100+ tackles, above average.

SportsCenter just aired an interview with two people who were suspected of being behind the hoax. They said their cousin had been duped by tuiasosopo and that when they heard about Manti and Kekua they tried to contact manti on twitter and ended up getting blocked. But they seemed to believe he was a victim as well.
