We watched Butler get a lot of playing time in spring training. Why, I didn't know.
He continued to get a lot of plays when there were decisions to be made in the secondary.
We started dumping DB's and yet he stuck around.
With too many DB's he still made the cuts.
He has not gotten a lot of game time during the season but when he did - he looked like the best of the kids.
He just got the big play in the SB and we are surprised?
Turns out they nick-named him Scrap - because he is always around the action.
"We call him 'Scrap' because the first time we saw him he was so scrappy and he found himself around the ball all the time," said defensive tackle Vince Wilfork.
