This is the game I expected would open the season when I saw who the Chiefs home opponents would be. Should be a great one. Can’t wait for NFL to start back!!

Ravens had one of the worst offseasons and lost a huge reason their defense was good the last couple seasons in Mac. Plus that stadium will be loud AF after KC won the SBOWL.... I would be shocked if the Chiefs lose this.

It was a bad omen for the Ravens when Lamar said he didn't like competing against Mahomes.

You have to look forward to that type of competition.

Especially when you hold out for the big payday and when your coaching staff inexplicably abandons the run and puts the game on you and your arm.

I think he’s just unnervingly open. Not a lot of people like that. Kinda refreshing, tbh. I like it better than the fake tough guy bit 90% of QB’s have.

I guess my issue with this matchup is that without Sneed I'm not sure the Chiefs can stack the box and dare Lamar Jackson to make easy passes again.

Worthy being a raw rookie and Hollywood Brown being hurt makes the offense probably similar to last year's so if you're a top team you probably want to play the Chiefs week 1 and not week 10.

I think the Chiefs should probably stack the box anyway - the Ravens have no strong wide receivers other than Flowers, their 2 and 3 guys are Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor, that’s not very good. I think the Chiefs secondary will be fine this year even though losing Sneed hurts, they’ve got pretty good younger guys I think - you follow them closer than I do though.

They probably will but maybe only sparringly. Ravens have had all offseason to look at film with Nick Bolton covering WRs to disguise looks so the element of surprise is gone.

Last year Spags was often vanilla in the first half and spicy in the second half.
