Well it's getting to the nitty gritty in the 2nd round of Madrid! It's a tough draw and they've already lost their top seed; Roger Federer! He went down in 3 sets to Aussie phenom Nick Kyrgios; all tie-breakers! It was a good match, but not what I'd call "lights out" tennis; more 1st strike with fast conditions! Took just 2 1/2 hours! Discuss! Serena barely survived 5 MP's against her playing Azarenka in the 3rd round! It also ended in a 3rd set TB! Everyone has to look out in this tourney! :rolleyes2:

Hey bksballer89, I've been wondering for a while whether you watch the playoffs when the Heat aren't in it.

Your new avatar tells me you do!

I wish the Heat had made it over the Celtics, I wanted to see Whiteside and Dragic in the playoffs.

Didn't realize how close the French Open is.

Now it really make sense why Novak skipped this tournament with another big tuneup tourney in Rome approaching

Like he needs more confidence after winning the top 4 tourneys of the season already? (3 Masters & 1 Major; AO, IW, Miami, & MC) Nole has a chance to make 2011 more a footnote to his career than the highlight with 3 majors and 4 Masters, beating Rafa Nadal in final after final; totally 7 in a row with Aussie Open in 2012! Looking forward to Rome and the FO; I think he's going to do it! :thumb:

Nadal to face Murray in the Finals.

It's good that Murray keeps getting to the big stage. Now to see what he can do this time. Usually he loses.

Kvitova beat Kuznetova in a blowout in the Womens Final.

Murray broke Nadal 3x and won in straight sets. Considering the surface, it's Murray's best win over Nadal in his career. Still, I think Murray could play better, I only give him a B++.

Murray now has his first 2 clay titles of his career in back to back weeks, in Germany and Madrid. The Madrid one is a big one.

You're serious? Petra Kvitova of course! She won in straight sets over Svetlana Kuznetzova:

For the men Murray won his 2nd clay title over Nadal in straigts as well:

It was tough in the FO semi, but Nole got by both Nadal and Murray to arrive in the final against Wawrinka tomorrow:
