I dunno, his regular season numbers aren't terrible and at a discounted price he's not the worst option for a team. If nothing else it's one more available goalie, one a team wouldn't have to give up assets for.

What makes me laugh is in the article it says Gillis could get DRAFT PICKS & PROSPECTS for Luongo.

It's not that teams don't want him. They don't want his contract. If Vancouver was willing to eat some of the contract Gillis would have a much easier time trading Luongo. I don't understand why they aren't willing to eat any of the contract THEY gave him.

They need to eat contract for this. that or they are eating the buyout amount. only other option is trading Schneider. I think Gillis has something in the pipe and Im very very anxious to know what it is and see this ended. but I think that contract will be haunting Vancouver for a long long time
