Regarding the Kam situation, Ray Lewis said he would never leave his brothers in battle... I guess Kam has a different perspective... he can care less about his brothers ... He's no Ray Lewis that's for sure...

Ray put his heart on that football field though .. Even if you don't like him as a person, how could anyone possibly not respect his heart on the field... He was a warrior out there

Actually, I was wrong. Ray was A fa in 09... Of course this was after 2 record breaking extensions, $70,000,000 in earnings and being undoubtedly the best player in that franchises history, so they werent going to let him walk.

Rays first extension in 98 was of the same value of Kams 15 years later. And guess what, it was restructured 2 years later to guarantee the remaining amount.

Lewis and Kam are supposed to be friends so maybe hearing this from RL will mean more to Kam than if it came from anywhere else.

I know guys don't like Lewis for some of his speeches outside of football and of course the sketchy murder stuff, but on the field he was a true leader and a force. I loved watching him play.

True. I've got absolutely no issue with Kam's play, his leadership, or even him asking for more money. My beef is how he's going about it. He could have went the Walter Jones, Russell Wilson, or Michael Bennett route and played in good faith while negotiating a different deal throughout the season.

The way I look at it is there's no one right now that can match Chancellor's intensity on the field and as a leader. That in a sense is where he wants to be paid as well, not only because of his plays on the field but he also want to be paid as a leader. You won't get an argument out of me out of that.

The concerns is how he's going about doing it and he left his teammates. One of their pre-game ritual is the "Who got your back... I got your back" chant... unfortunately right now, Kam Chancellor does not "got their backs." He left his teammates.
