If you can prove Baylor would win on a neutral field, then I'm with you. Until then we are just guessing

Until anyone can prove that anyone could beat anyone wherever, yeah...it's a 3-card Monty shell game thingamabobber.

Just accept what you're being told and be a good, quiet CFB fan.

Don't question.

Don't doubt.

They know.

You don't.

I'm saying voters have doubts Baylor will beat Oklahoma.

So are the rankings suppose the represent where the team is now or where the will end up?

I have doubts they will to. But when you look logically at Louisville/Baylor and their respective opponents and the results of the matchups up to this point, you realize that there may be some discrepancy there.

Can you see it?

Does anyone doubt that Louisville could beat Oklahoma if OU is to be used as some measuring stick?

As soon as Baylor plays somebody with a pulse they'll get killed. Like always. They shouldn't even be in the Top 20. Okiedope will murder them.

Louisville would beat Baylor like a red-headed stepchild. PLease.

So we can assume you're ok with the Hokies being 25th?

That's cool.

Good for you bro.

I really wanna see Baylor play Oky.

One of those two is an obvious choice for a Fiesta Bowl bid.

I keep saying it, you don't want to play Baylor now.

Only one team in the country can keep up, and you know who that is.

Louisville returns 15 starters from their team that beat #3/#4 Florida in the Sugar Bowl last year... only two ranked teams returned more starters than Louisville: #13/#14 Miami (19 starters), #16/#19 Washington (17 starters)

Baylor, on the other hand, has yet to beat anybody big time. But they will have their chance. They have only played 1 of their 9 scheduled Big XII opponents, and still have to play #10/#12 Oklahoma, Texas, #20/#21 Texas Tech, #20/#22 Oklahoma State, and TCU

also, Louisville currently has the #1 scoring D in the nation by far (only allowing 6.8 points/game) and the #3 total D in the nation (behind only Florida and Michigan State)

Louisville is also #6 in the nation in turnover margin per game (behind only Oregon, Clemson, VT, Houston, and Navy)

I think they will win the Big12. And I think people will be shocked when they beat Oky. I think it will be a huge statement game that will get everyone's attention if they havent already.

Oky was my preseason Big12 champ. But I have my doubts.

Competition is not there yet for Baylor, but the eyeball test tells us quite a bit I would say.

Baylor is Averaging, that's Averaging, 70+ points a game. Starters playing little more than a half.

Maybe Louisville would beat them, but I still think Baylor would win, right now. Could change.

JUst to interject something. Baylor has played 1 FBS team with a winning record. That being Buffalo. Who they beat badly. ULM has a losing record, WVU is .500, and Wofford is an FCS team. Let's wait until they play a ranked team before declaring anything. I know OU fans want them to be ranked higher to help with SOS, but OU will be their first ranked opponent. Have to go all the way into November for Baylor to meet a ranked opponent.

Baylor has been very impressive offensively and nobody can deny that, but let's wait and see them play a team who can match them defensively.

Louisville's five wins have combined to win five games against FBS teams. The argument is used against Baylor but not against Louisville.

Went to edit and put the same thing for Louisville, but missed the timeline. The thing is that the preseason rankings take into consideration what was done the previous year and what the team brought back from that previous year. Too many people do not remember that.

Where they will end up based on what they have done so far.
