McRoberts bumped up in the depth chart!!!
At the half Goff had a good initial drive and has done absolutely nothing since that TD drive. The defense has to be gassed, the offense and special teams keep putting them in bad position with back to back to back turnovers in Vikings red zone territory. Goff looks suited for third on the depth chart, he has a lot of work to do. That Vikings offense couldn't drive 80 yards on us, only if we let them.
and McRoberts just got bumped down with the muffed punt
He is trying to make the team as a WR not punt returner. He just started returning the last 4-5 games on his college career
But here's the problem...When you're the potential 5th or 6th WR on the depth chart, it sure helps to be able to do more than just be a WR...Of course Tavon does kickoff and punt returns usually, but Tavon is a small guy who can get hurt and it's ALWAYS nice to know there's someone else there to step in just in case...
Isn't Cooper considered the 2nd string? McRoberts can do it, he is just another UDFA trying to hard in the return game.
Hey Coug! How have ya been?
Hang in there buddy!Ive been good man thanks! It is pretty weird with football season about to kick off not having a hometown team though
Goff looks bad with the 2nd and 3rd teamers. Not the same dude who plays with the 1's.
Once guys like Britt and Higbee went out tonight, he struggled.
I like what Marshall and Dickerson said about the QB backup.
It's more like 2A and 2B with Goff and Mannion.
If Case goes down to injury, Sean is the guy you want coming off the bench, otherwise you want Goff to come in with a week to prepare.
