What happened B-Shaw's first season in Denver? Lawson missed 21 games. Chandler missed 27 games. That's a huge reason they went from 57 wins to 36.

In his 2nd season? They didn't give him a chance to complete his 2nd full season in charge. Wasn't like Melvin Hunt worked miracles either.

Isn't that basically what they did when the hired Luke? But Like I said Luke isn't getting fired. So Luke fans can rest easy.

Not really. Luke has played in the NBA, he started learning to coach from Phil Jackson when he was a player, he was an assistant with Memphis (University, not the Grizzlies), he was an assistant under Kerr with the Warriors and did a great job when he had to be the interim head coach. He also learned from a pretty good coach when he played college ball at Arizona. Except for the one season at Memphis, all of his coaching experience is in the NBA.

Jay Wright has zero NBA experience. He was an assistant at Rochester, Drexel, Villanova, and UNLV. He was head coach at Hofstra before being hired as head coach for Villanova.

Shaw was fired after not being given a full 2 years to show what he could do.....


And weren't you a fan of Shaw before Walton was hired? I thought you said he'd be a good hire?

2 years to show what he could do? He took over a 57 win team. All he needed to do was show he wouldn't fuck it up. Shit, I could have coached them to a .500 record. lol

He's a good hire as an assistant coach, not as a head coach. Maybe he learned from his experience in Denver and would be good. But imo, Luke hasn't given the Lakers any reason to find out.

So missing 2 players from a 57 win team is a good enough excuse for Shaw...but losing the best player on the planet and a smart, savvy vet like Rondo isn't a good enough excuse for Luke?

You have good things to look forward to with your Cowboys tomodach10. They are just missing one or two ingredients for going deep into the playoffs. I know its easy for me to say.

i just can't believe how many times we bit on the motion and you guys just ran it up the middle. It was amazing. I can't believe how our safety did not stay with Goff on that last run, but he is an extreme weakness on our defense. Hope Earl Thomas replaces him next year LOL. I hope you win the Superbowl. I really admire your team. They are going to be good for a while.

Well, we did get a much needed win against the Bulls and Luke has announced the starting line-up will be changed next game. McGee and Hart are going to be relegated to substitution duty and and Chandler is going start over McGee and I don't remember from the article who was replacing Hart in the line-up.

Mcgee ssems to work better starting with LBJ. Hart is just not a starter at this time, he is more of a bench player. KCP is not a starter as well, but what can you do at this point. I have no problem with Luke shaking things up.
