WE simply don't have an answer for all of the sharp-shooting b the Grizz. This is one of our glaring weaknesses.

Memphis is going to go to the three stripe coming out of the timeout. WE have to play some sharp-shooting defense or this one is over.

That game was indicative of how bad we can play down the stretch on defense. WE had a lead at 89-87 and then we just died and Memphis started hitting threes and the game was over.

See ya. I'll back at another time as Tuesday I work and the Lakers are away at the Dubs for their annual Christmas day game.

Hard to win games when your 2 PG's score a combined 6 pts.

Ball was not the right pick at #2. He'll have an occasional good game, but alot of disappearing games. Way too inconsistent. And the 3 pt shot he had in college has not shown up in the NBA.

The Lakers need a legit PG that can score and defend because ours get burned too many times and because they can't shoot, teams don't respect them.

Overreacting. Lonzo will be fine. He is getting better. He was the projected#1 or #2 pick by most of the NBA. Lakers needed a pg. It was a no brainer pick.

I doubt they'd make a coaching change in the middle of the season.

I'll be shocked if Luke goes anywhere. People claiming he's on some kind of hot seat aren't paying attention.

The whole thing where Magic "chewed him out" has since been shown to be not nearly what the media tried to say about it.

Jeanie has come out and said "Luke is our coach, period".

Doug Gottlieb recently said that the nonsense that was said that the report that Lebron has been blowing off Luke's plays is just that...nonsense. He said that from everything he's heard, Lebron likes Luke and he hasn't blown off or ignored a play even once.

I'm sure that Lebron operates outside the offense at times, but that's to be expected. He's a superstar and that allows him some autonomy because of what he is capable of doing. MJ and Kobe used to operate outside of Phil's offense at timers as well.

Agree. He needs to improve his shooting, but he does enough other things well that it makes up for it to an extent. But he will never live up to his draft status if he doesn't shoot well enough (and often enough) that teams can't leave him alone.

He has elite vision, he is an elite passer and while I wouldn't call him elite just yet, he has become an excellent defender.

His 2 biggest issues, outside of shooting imo, are his lack of being aggressive on offense and learning to play alongside Lebron.

Lebron and Lonzo have very similar games, but Lebron is an excellent scorer, while Lonzo is not. That's why, as I've posted before, he and Lebron play much better together when Lebron is off ball and not as well when Lonzo if off ball.

If Lonzo can learn to be more aggressive and shoot better when he is off ball, he and Lebron can become a pretty tough combo to beat.

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning audible at the line of scrimmage.....it's what a superstar is allowed to do. I'm sure MJ and Magic did it also.

Exactly. But, it's Lebron, it's the Lakers, so people are going to try to create stories.

If the recent overt musings from Ball's have any truth in them, Lonzo, along with KCP, and draft picks will be on their way to New Orleans for Anthony Davis. Supposedly this deal will go down sometime after the holidays and before the trade deadline in February.
