Caruso replaces Stephenson and we shall see if he makes the team this year.
I expect the defense to struggle. The offense was chucking a bit but already to see those dimes by players was nice. Even without LonzoGame 2 vs. the Nuggets tonight. Lebron playing, still no Lonzo.
It'll be interesting to see what improvements, if any, we see from game 1.
Plua,McGee is playing for his last big contract.....Game went about as expected. Defense is harder than offense in the NBA because of the communication and trust required. So, unsurprising that they struggled defensively against a team that hasn't had a lot of roster turnover.
Offensively, they looked pretty good for the most part. There were some unreal passes by Lebron and Rondo (Rondo had 11 assists in only 23 minutes).
If JaVale McGee can stay off of Shaqtin' A Fool, he looks like he could clean up with Rondo, Lebron and eventually Lonzo feeding him.
Another loss to the Nuggies followed by a high scoring affair and win over the Queens. We are getting there offensively but the D still remains a question mark.
Lakers and the Clip Joint tonight for Game 4 of the preseason. We are scoring 115.3 ppg and allowing 120 ppgs. Diff= -4.7. This is an improvement from last year but it must get better in the regular season if we are going to see a post season. Granted these are preseason data but it is an indicator that our D is still a bit suspect.

In all fairness, in both games against Denver he had Zubac, Caruso, Wear, Svi, Williams, Bonga and Berry II playing most of the second half
