This is interesting and if the Pels want to "just get it over with" and trade him before the deadline, that bodes very well for the Lakers since the Celtics can't make an offer without first moving Kyrie.

The Pels, however, do not have to be in a hurry because his player option is after next season.

I will say though, that it looks like Rich Paul is trying to get him to the Lakers and it seems like AD wants to be a Laker.

Rich Paul is going to have to seriously poison the well and adamantly tell teams that AD will not sign with anyone but the Lakers.

If the Pels have the kind of relationship with AD that Minny had with KG and are willing to take a little less to give him what he wants...that would help too.

Anyone not named Lebron James.

I would love to keep at least 1 of the youngsters. But when you consider that, with a trade, they could get AD and have cap space for another max level FA in the off-season...you basically have to have everyone other than Lebron available.

AD and James is a good duo.....you don't even need a 3rd superstar, just a player like Redick or Middleton next summer and some bench players and that's a really good team.

I think Rondo would come back next season on a fair contract, same with Stephenson.

You don't even need a 3rd star if you have those 2.

Get a player like Redick or Middleton and you'd have a good trio to build around.

I would love to have Davis, but if the pelicans want to play hard ball like the spurs, f-them, and sign him in 2020. Just move on and add a shooter by deadline.
