So many early chances. A lot of the early offensive problems in games this season have to do with bunting and having good bunts or just giving away stupid outs because of it. There was no need for Martin to bunt.

If it was tied in the 9th he would not bunt.

I would say it may have been Martin's decision but Soto seemed to know it was coming so it may have been called in by RW. But not for sure.

I don't mind sucking at small ball if there's no speed and athleticism but sucking at small ball because of mental brain farts irks me and is annoying.
